Caring for your furniture - how you can protect your reclaimed wood in just a few minutes
Caring for furniture made from reclaimed wood could not be simpler,and yet is incredibly crucial in order to keep it looking beautiful. Learn our step-by-step method that you can use at home. Hand oiling your Regalia furniture using our Hardwax oil is a completely natural and very resilient solution for the protection of your furniture.
1. You’ll need a soft, cotton cloth and the supplied Regalia Hardwax Oil. All of these items can be found in your care-kit provided by Regalia.
2. Prior to applying the oil wipe your furniture down using a soft, damp (preferably cotton).
3. Apply a small amount of oil onto the cloth. Remember to clean the cloth before each use.
4. Using a small circular motion apply the oil onto the surface following the grain of the wood. You can also use a small paint brush to reach areas which the cloth won’t be able to. Remember that our oil is made specially as to protect your wood from staining from oil, wine, or tea. We recommend using our product only as others may have a negative impact on the finish of your furniture.
5. Wait until the oil has fully saturated into the wood
6. That’s it. Couldn’t be easier.
